Docklocs®-Locator abutments for the CD1 system
Biocompatible ceramic PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) hard coating
Advantages of the Docklocs® Attachment System
The abutments of the Docklocs® system are coated with an innovative protective layer of zirconium carbonitride (ZrCN). This is extremely wear-resistant and biocompatible. Zirconium surfaces have a much lower plaque affinity than titanium. Inflammatory reactions are therefore extremely rare.
Optimized retention housing
The retention housing is provided with additional horizontal grooves for improved resistance to vertical and horizontal movements. The red anodized surface improves aesthetics and prevents grey show-through of the surface with thin denture material.
Retention inserts (matrices) made of high-performance plastic
The outstanding properties of the retention inserts are their very high hardness, great toughness and extremely high dynamic load capacity (number of load cycles).
They are also highly resistant to chemicals and lipids and have a low tendency to absorb water.

This allows the dentist to cover many clinical implant situations.
The 18° abutments are available with two connection variants.
